Wednesday Wellness: How Yoga Benefits Your Mental Health

October 6-12, 2019 is Mental Illness Health Awareness Week. While the physical benefits of yoga are well documented (check out any number of yoga Instagram photos), the mental health benefits can't be captured in a photo. They are as numerous and as important though you can't capture them on your camera: stress reduction, anxiety and anger management, help with PTSD, improvements in both sleep and mood.
